My Story

Mayberry Manor Candle Company was founded on the belief that one well placed candle can be both calming and therapeutic. It was with that belief that started my journey to create a safe, clean burning, toxin free candle. Unfortunately it took a pandemic to get the ball rolling but here we are. Covid-19 was life changing for many of us including myself. I tried to cope with the unfamiliar, sequestered lifestyle by keeping myself busy in any possible way I knew how.  I turned to baking, online shopping, binge watching, horticulture and candle making for my release, anything really to pass the time. Ironically it was the latter, that eventually evolved into the foundation for MMCC.

As I deep dove into candle making and it's process, I noticed that it brought a sense of peace and calm to my life that was welcomed and much needed at the time. I immediately began doing research and experimented with different waxes, wicks and fragrances not realizing how labor intensive it could be at times but also therapeutic. The process allowed me to escape the troubles of the world and redirect my creative energy into something special that I could share with others. 

I was only limited by my imagination and wanted to create a natural, vegan, toxin-free, cruelty-free candle that would inspire others to explore their creative ideas as well. As a result, Mayberry Manor Candle Company was born!

MMCC is dedicated to bringing a touch of luxury to every home and to every room while focusing on an underlying cause...........giving back! For each candle sold, Mayberry Manor Candle Co. donates one meal through Feeding America and Sarah's Circle to help feed and shelter those in need.
