WICK CARE

At Mayberry Manor we use wooden wicks in our candles to offer a soothing, crackling flame that adds an ambient touch to any setting. In order to get the most out of your wick, special care and attention is required.

The following maintenance routine will help extend your candle's burning time while maximizing it's potential: 

• Always trim your wicks before each use, remove all charred wood from previous burn. 
• For optional burn, keep your wooden wick trimmed to about 1/8"
• Tilt the vessel and light at one end of the wick and let the flame draw naturally across the wick
• If the wick does not light immediately on the first try, this is normal. Be patient and repeat
